Volunteer Portal

Welcome to the Volunteer Portal

Thank you for agreeing to be a part of our Volunteer Program at King’s. We appreciate the gift of your time and your willingness to enrich the lives of our students, through volunteering.

There are multiple elements to completing your Volunteer Training.

To complete the volunteer requirements you need to submit your Working With Children Check and completed Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect training certificate. If you do not currently hold these documents, you will need to click on the links below and complete the process. You will then need to complete our School-based training. Once you obtain all of these documents, you can return to this portal and submit your application.

Follow the steps below to complete your training:

Working with Children Check

The Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a nationally recognised check that is verified by the Department for Human Services. Follow the link to apply for a free Check as a prospective volunteer. The Working with Children Check can take up to 3 weeks to be returned to you. You will need to upload your Check in the final stages of submission.

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) Training

The Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) Training is an online course delivered through the Department for Education's online platform, plink. Follow the link to create a plink account and access the online training. Please save your certificate to upload in the final stages of submission.

School-Based Training

You will need to complete this questionnaire to show you understand all the aspects and requirements of volunteering at King's Baptist Grammar School. Please save your certificate to upload in the final stages of submission.

Submit Application

Once you have provided all the required documents and submitted your application, you will receive an email response to confirm your status as Trained Volunteer. A Volunteer name badge will be sent to you via your youngest child’s class.
